HONORING GOD, COUNTRY, AND FAMILIES WHO SERVE

Giving Tuesday 2018

Dear Supporters, Today is Giving Tuesday, a day when many start thinking about giving back to support the causes they deeply care about.  At CKFF, every day is a giving day as we give back to the marriages of men and women who serve, or have served our country. As we enjoy our great American traditions this holiday season, our thoughts are especially with military and first responders who are sacrificing their holidays to serve and protect our country and communities. Since 2014, our foundation has impacted 1,800+ individuals in the service community.  Unfortunately, we are only able to help roughly 15% of couples who reach out to us for retreats. We need your financial help to serve 100% of those who wish to benefit from the marriage-strengthening programs CKFF provides. Join our #GivingTuesday campaign by making a donation today.  Each donation will help support our mission and our programs.  You can quickly and easily make a donation online by clicking here: https://donate.chriskylefrogfoundation.org Our military and first responders do their part to protect and serve us and our country. Help us create experiences to support our vision of a country of connected and thriving military and first responder families. Happy Holidays and God Bless- Taya Kyle Co-Founder & Executive Director Chris Kyle Frog... Read More

CHRIS KYLE FROG FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH NINE BAND BREWING CO. TO LAUNCH SPECIALTY BEER

CHRIS KYLE FROG FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH NINE BAND BREWING CO. TO LAUNCH SPECIALTY BEER Proceeds benefit the foundation’s mission to support military and first responder marriages. MIDLOTHIAN, TX – OCTOBER 30, 2018 – The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) team was joined at The Rustic – Dallas by the Nine Band Brewing Co. crew, and former Dallas Cowboy Jesse Holley, to tap the first keg of “The Badge” which carries CKFF branding. “The Badge” is a beer for men and women of honor as it has the spirit of first responders at its core. The beer is a nod to the time before Texas was a state; men donned badges to bring law to the state and establish peace and safety. This was the pre-cursor to the badges that police, fire and emergency medical service now possess.  Nine-Band Brewing Company’s award-winning brewmaster tailored this honey blonde beer with a light body and a hint of sweetness from a local honey farm. The Allen, TX-based brewery is expanding its footprint across the United States and “The Badge” will be part of that growth initiative.  It will be sold as a canned drink and on tap in select establishments.  A portion of all sales will be donated to CKFF to continue its mission which focuses on strengthening military and first responder marriages. To further extend the partnership, Nine Band Brewing will be holding a Date Night Out this Saturday, November 3rd with “The Badge” on tap.  The Date Night Out is specifically for local military and first responder couples that have approached CKFF. Wreaths Across America (WAA) and Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) formalize project

Wreaths Across America (WAA) and Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) formalize project Bond Of Mutual Respect, Gratitude And Faith Since first meeting the Wreaths Across America (WAA) team and Worcester family last fall, Taya Kyle, Founder and Executive Director of Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF), has been impressed with WAA’s “ripple effect of kindness.” It quickly became apparent both national nonprofits shared the same patriotic mission of honoring and respecting our military, veterans and their families. Taya Kyle is the wife of Chris Kyle, Navy SEAL and author of the New York Times bestseller American Sniper, which inspired the 2014 movie. After her husband’s death, Taya founded the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to honor her husband’s life and legacy. In her book, American Wife, she shares insights about supporting military families. While their loved ones are deployed, military spouses are serving on the home front, keeping things operational and caring for the rest of the family. Even though Morrill Worcester, founder of WAA, didn’t serve in the armed forces, his original donation of 5,000 wreaths for veteran graves at Arlington National Cemetery in 1992 has grown into a national movement. For WAA’s 25th anniversary in 2016, more than 1.2 million wreaths were placed at 1,228 locations, with the help of over 800,000 patriotic volunteers. Taya was aware of WAA’s efforts because she had agreed to present the WAA Ceremonial Wreath at the Austin State Capitol for the Texas Funeral Directors Association’s 11th annual WAA event last December. Afterwards, WAA arranged for a private wreath placement by Taya and her children at Texas State Cemetery, where Chris is buried, along with 3,000 other veterans and prominent Texans. The CKFF promise, “THEY FIGHT FOR US; WE FIGHT FOR THEM” captures the... Read More

Seabag Locker Coffee Supports CKFF

Seabag Locker Coffee Supports CKFF Seabag Locker Coffee, owned and operated by Don and Penny Wingard now supports CKFF with their line of patriotic-themed coffee. A husband and wife team, Penny retired after 20 years in the Navy while Don remains active duty Navy going on 28 years of service. They transformed a passion for great coffee into a thriving business that they hope will bring numerous employment opportunities to military and law enforcement veterans as they grow. Over their 23 year marriage, both have faced the trials, difficulties, and enjoyment that comes with being a dual service family. “We both knew when we started the business that giving back would be a top priority. Our search focused on organizations that supported military and their families because that was our story – a dual military couple juggling the demands of raising children in this unique and rewarding environment. With careful consideration we found CKFF, it was the perfect fit!” says, Don. Penny articulates some of their unique challenges: “While one was away on deployment, the other took on the duties of serving their country and taking care of our children.  We’ve both dealt with the difficulties in acclimating with the family once the deployment ended.” A portion of every sale will now be donated to Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to support programs designed to strengthen military and first responder marriages and families.
