Taya Kyle heads to Wyoming for 3rd Empowered Spouses Retreat

Taya Kyle heads to Wyoming for 3rd Empowered Spouses Retreat This week, Taya Kyle and the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation will host 24 spouses from the military and first responder communities in Wyoming for its third Empowered Spouses Retreat. The Retreat – a vision of Ms. Kyle for the Foundation that honors her husband, American Sniper, Chris Kyle – takes place in a remote location and each of the women has the chance to unwind, compare and support each other around the stresses and strains a life of service provides and be taken out of their comfort zone with a range of activities that allow them to feel empowered. Participants – including those new to the Foundation and a select few that have been involved in other programs with the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation with their husbands – will have access to accredited coaches, along with the chance to spend time with Ms. Kyle herself. VIDEO: 2016 Empowered Spouses Retreat Taya takes pride in being hands on for the Empowered Spouses Retreat, along with all programs that she volunteers her time to the Foundation for. “The Empowered Spouses Retreats are such positive experiences that each time, the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation team and I have left Wyoming with our hearts open and full, we’ve been warmed that these amazing women have been together – laughing, crying, hugging – and sharing their common experiences,” said Taya Kyle. “The biggest affirmation that many of them find from the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Empowered Spouses Retreat is that they aren’t alone. “They aren’t alone in their experiences, they aren’t alone in the strains and stresses a life of service places on their... Lt. Col. Oliver North to provide keynote for CKFF Gala in Chicago

Lt. Col. Oliver North to provide keynote for CKFF Gala in Chicago One of America’s most respected war heroes, Lt. Col. Oliver North will deliver the keynote address at the Chicago Gala that benefits the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation on Saturday, April 14, 2018. The Gala event at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare is a major fundraising event for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, which was launched in honor of American Sniper, Chris Kyle by his wife Taya in 2014 following his murder. The Foundation’s unique mission is to provide experiences to enhance the marriages of active duty military, veteran and first responder couples – or put simply – to serve the marriages of those who serve our country. Divorce rates, along with the pressures on the family unit are proven to be significantly higher for service couples. These days, Lt. Col. North dedicates his time to delivering positive messages to events like the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Chicago Gala around topics along the lines of America in the New Millennium; Family, Faith and Freedom; and America the Exceptional. He will be a valued addition to the Chicago Gala for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation on April 14, says Executive Director and wife of Chris Kyle, Taya Kyle.   “Lt. Col. Oliver North is a man that we are so honored to be hosting at the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Gala,” said Taya Kyle. ”His outlook to life is very much in line with where Chris’ was when he finished his service – he is humble and wants to make a positive difference. “His work within the military and veteran space perfectly complements the mission of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to... Chicago Gala set to Honor Chris Kyle

Chicago Gala set to Honor Chris Kyle The second annual Chicago Gala to benefit the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation will be held on April 14th, 2018 in Chicago, IL at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. The Gala has been designed as a key 2018 fundraiser for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation – a foundation dedicated to serving the marriages of those who serve us in the military and first responder communities. The Foundation was launched in honor of American Sniper Chris Kyle by his wife, Taya following his murder five years ago. In line with the work Chris was doing with those who served before his death in 2013, the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation provides experiences for military and first responder couples, with the aim of allowing their marriages to thrive. Statistically, service marriages have a far higher failure rate than those of non-service marriages, with the rigors of serving in military or first responder units taking their toll at home. In announcing the Gala, Taya Kyle highlighted the work in Chicago that first responder units do in protecting the city, along with the high population of military service veterans in and around Illinois. “We’re excited to be heading back to Chicago and cementing the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Gala on the April calendar there,” said Ms. Kyle. “We’ll be using the event to give back to the community, by providing experiences to service couples through the event. “It is no secret that especially the first responders in Chicago have been under a lot of pressure over recent times – but as they do – they continue to turn up, proudly, to protect their city and its... “To spend a day with my wife was so special to us, we don’t get to do it too often.”

“To spend a day with my wife was so special to us, we don’t get to do it too often.” When you think Las Vegas, NV you think the bright lights of The Strip, crazy hotels, good times and chancing your arm at a Casino. It’s a place of guilty pleasures and escapism. You certainly don’t see it as becoming the home of America’s worst gun tragedy. Sadly, on October 1, 2017, it was exactly that when a gunman opened fire from a hotel on an open air concert. Many off-duty first responders at the concert were hailed for their bravery in stepping in to help those in the firing line, putting their own bodies on the line and their own significant others at risk. The first responders that were serving at the event on the night and the city in the days and weeks directly after the event had to wade through the uncertainty to secure and re-assure the community. Soon after, through a partnership with America’s leading mobile hydraulic and industrial hose supplier – PIRTEK USA – and NHRA Mello Yello Series front runner, Steve Torrence, the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation had the opportunity to provide experiences to Police Officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at the Fall round of the NHRA held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s The Strip. The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation’s Date Night Out program gives couples that serve either in military or first responder units the chance to experience time off and allow someone else to serve. CKFF has found since implementing Date Night Out that most of the couples that take part haven’t had time off – in many cases – for years. LVMPD Officer Richard and his Wife... Read More

CKFF & ResortQuest pair up to change Service Couples’ lives

CKFF & ResortQuest pair up to change Service Couples’ lives “Upon retiring from the Army, I finally realized the affect my service to our country had on our family. We were splintered. We did not speak to each other, but at each other. We were not truly happy, but going through the motions.” Rich is a retired non-Commissioned Army Officer who was awarded a Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Revitalization Retreat in Destin, FL thanks to ResortQuest with his wife, Gwen. The couple was battling to connect after his service, however Rich and Gwen are a true Chris Kyle Frog Foundation success story. “We both freely admit that when we arrived in Destin, we were not in a great place,” Rich reflected. “Moving into that resort, 19 stories above the Florida ocean, we immediately felt relaxed. It was surreal that we were awarded the retreat. “From there we immediately started to re-connect, some of those communication barriers that we had in place were coming down. The Foundation just let us be us – and it worked.” Rich first found out about the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation when he read Chris’ autobiography, American Sniper for the first time. He investigated it and nominated himself and Gwen for a Revitalization Retreat through the Foundation’s website www.ckffdn.org. “The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation just doesn’t talk the talk, it walks the walk,” he said. “Every member of the Foundation staff and their partners, like ResortQuest are invested in assisting the marriages of military and first responder couples – and they truly care. “It gave us the chance to re-ignite the passion that first got us together – and the Foundation is setup in such...
