Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University and The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work to fund evidence-based marital and mental health counseling programs for military and first responder marriages Midlothian, Texas (December 21, 2016) – The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, dedicated to honoring God, Country and Families Who Serve by providing experiences that strengthen military and first responder marriages and families, today announced $200,000 in Holiday Grants to the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University and The University of Texas (UT) at Austin School of Social Work to help launch the foundation’s Mastering Your Marriage program. Rooted in military and first responder marital and mental health research, this program expands the work started with the Foundation’s signature Revitalization Retreats. This new program encompasses an orientation weekend where couples will first pledge to transform their marriages, undergo baseline assessments, followed by a sustained 6-month curriculum that will include relationship-coaching provided by nationally known leaders in marriage, communications and trauma response, as well as ongoing support by graduate level clinicians-in-training. Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Expands Programming Through Grant From The Moody Foundation The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, dedicated to honoring God, Country and families who serve by providing experiences that strengthen military and first responder marriages and families, is humbled and honored to receive a $100,000 grant from The Moody Foundation in support of future programming.  The grant, paid out over the next two years, will help launch the foundation’s Mastering Your Marriage program slated for a pilot launch in 2017. Mastering Your Marriage will provide military and first responder marriages a level of support not currently available.  The program will encompass an orientation weekend for married couples who pledge to transform their marriages by committing to a 6-month curriculum that will include coaching provided by subject-matter-experts, and support by clinicians in training. Midlothian, Texas (May 1, 2016) – Nearly 500 Indiana military, veteran and first responder representatives will experience a date to remember this May attending the Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis and the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. A program of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, Date Night Out emphasizes the need for our country’s service couples to prioritize time focusing on each other and finding time for fun. The foundation has partnered with PIRTEK Team Murray to offer the Indy Date Night Out experiences. PIRTEK Team Murray will field rookie driver, Matt Brabham, in the 100th running of the race. The foundation launched its Date Night Out programming in April bringing military, veteran and first responder couples to the Chris Kyle Birthday Bash in Dallas, Texas. “Seeing these couples together – having fun and connecting – is what this foundation is all about,” said Taya Kyle, executive director, Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. “I’m thrilled to be bringing our Date Night Out programming to Indianapolis and the historic 100th Indianapolis 500. Warner Bros. Supports CKFF Indy 500 Veterans Pitcrew MARCH 13, 2016 – ST PETERSBURG, FL: PIRTEK Team Murray and the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation have created a unique program that will see six military service veterans and first responders from across North America molded into a pit crew for this year’s 100th Indianapolis 500 celebrations in May. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) worked with Team Murray and the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to create the concept and WBHE will be using the pit crew program to launch American Sniper: The Chris Kyle Commemorative Edition Blu-ray on May 3. The pit crew will be housed in Indianapolis for the 10 days leading up to the event and will be trained and coached by some of the sport’s leading fitness and movement professionals, including Pit Fit’s Jim Leo. Training complete, they will then be the entry crewing the PIRTEK Team Murray #61 Chevrolet entry into the TAG Heuer Pit Crew Challenge on Coors Lite Carb Day, Friday May 27, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
