HONORING GOD, COUNTRY, AND FAMILIES WHO SERVE

CKFF & ResortQuest pair up to change Service Couples’ lives

CKFF & ResortQuest pair up to change Service Couples’ lives “Upon retiring from the Army, I finally realized the affect my service to our country had on our family. We were splintered. We did not speak to each other, but at each other. We were not truly happy, but going through the motions.” Rich is a retired non-Commissioned Army Officer who was awarded a Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Revitalization Retreat in Destin, FL thanks to ResortQuest with his wife, Gwen. The couple was battling to connect after his service, however Rich and Gwen are a true Chris Kyle Frog Foundation success story. “We both freely admit that when we arrived in Destin, we were not in a great place,” Rich reflected. “Moving into that resort, 19 stories above the Florida ocean, we immediately felt relaxed. It was surreal that we were awarded the retreat. “From there we immediately started to re-connect, some of those communication barriers that we had in place were coming down. The Foundation just let us be us – and it worked.” Rich first found out about the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation when he read Chris’ autobiography, American Sniper for the first time. He investigated it and nominated himself and Gwen for a Revitalization Retreat through the Foundation’s website www.ckffdn.org. “The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation just doesn’t talk the talk, it walks the walk,” he said. “Every member of the Foundation staff and their partners, like ResortQuest are invested in assisting the marriages of military and first responder couples – and they truly care. “It gave us the chance to re-ignite the passion that first got us together – and the Foundation is setup in such... CKFF – Servicing the marriages of those who serve

CKFF – Servicing the marriages of those who serve The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation continues to service the marriages of those who serve us by providing opportunities to service couples to re-connect through unique experiences, such as that provided with the Torrence Racing NHRA Top Fuel team. After dining among the team they are taken to the start line for the most exhilarating experience in sport – feeling a Top Fuel dragster launch and the 2.6 it registers on the Richter scale and see it going from 0 to 60mph in one full circulation of the massive rear tires. Our service couple from Oklahoma – where she was in the Army for nine years – that recently went out to the event in Texas on a Revitalization Retreat had an amazing time. The rigors of service has been taking its toll on their marriage – to the point of them almost splitting. Thanks to the opportunity they received from the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation and PIRTEK, they were able to reconnect as a result of the experience and enjoy the downtime together – to the point where they felt they could go on together, such was the positive impact of escaping for a day with each other. Donations to CKFF and proceeds that come to the Foundation from merchandise sales along with donors, such as PIRTEK, Kohls and USAA among others allow the Foundation to create such experiences for service couples and meet its mission to Honor God, Country, Family while changing the world for this generation and the next by recognizing and strengthening first responder, military and veteran... Wreaths Across America (WAA) and Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) formalize project

Wreaths Across America (WAA) and Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) formalize project Bond Of Mutual Respect, Gratitude And Faith Since first meeting the Wreaths Across America (WAA) team and Worcester family last fall, Taya Kyle, Founder and Executive Director of Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF), has been impressed with WAA’s “ripple effect of kindness.” It quickly became apparent both national nonprofits shared the same patriotic mission of honoring and respecting our military, veterans and their families. Taya Kyle is the wife of Chris Kyle, Navy SEAL and author of the New York Times bestseller American Sniper, which inspired the 2014 movie. After her husband’s death, Taya founded the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to honor her husband’s life and legacy. In her book, American Wife, she shares insights about supporting military families. While their loved ones are deployed, military spouses are serving on the home front, keeping things operational and caring for the rest of the family. Even though Morrill Worcester, founder of WAA, didn’t serve in the armed forces, his original donation of 5,000 wreaths for veteran graves at Arlington National Cemetery in 1992 has grown into a national movement. For WAA’s 25th anniversary in 2016, more than 1.2 million wreaths were placed at 1,228 locations, with the help of over 800,000 patriotic volunteers. Taya was aware of WAA’s efforts because she had agreed to present the WAA Ceremonial Wreath at the Austin State Capitol for the Texas Funeral Directors Association’s 11th annual WAA event last December. Afterwards, WAA arranged for a private wreath placement by Taya and her children at Texas State Cemetery, where Chris is buried, along with 3,000 other veterans and prominent Texans. The CKFF promise, “THEY FIGHT FOR US; WE FIGHT FOR THEM” captures the... Read More
