Multi-Year Grant Awarded by Airpower Foundation to Chris Kyle Frog Foundation

Chris Kyle Frog Foundation was announced as a recipient of a multi-year grant thank you to the Airpower Foundation, which was made public in front of 2,400 guests at the recent American Airlines Skyball XVII.

Skyball XVII - held in an American Airlines hangar at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport - raised $2.4 million towards a number of organizations that support the military community, including CKFF.

The announcement marks the first year of a four-year arrangement with Airpower Foundation that will see Chris Kyle Frog Foundation enabled to expand its ability to offer unique opportunities to active service, veteran and first responder married couples through signature programs such as its Date Night Out, Revitalization Retreats, Empowered Spouses Retreat and Mastering Your Marriage.

Taya Kyle, Executive Director, welcomed the Airpower Foundation to be part of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation and thanked the organization for its commitment.

“The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation was established with a very specific purpose to empower the marriages of service couples,” said Kyle. “Since launching on Veterans Day in 2014, we have directly impacted nearly 3,000 individuals through our programs with a success rate that exceeds 95%.

“The programs that we can offer to the service couples that serve our country and communities don’t just impact them - it has a stronger ripple effect across their extended family and group of friends and we constantly see the positive outcomes this has.

“The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation team cannot thank the Airpower Foundation enough for recognizing the positive work we’re doing and for assisting us in expanding our work over the next four years.”

Chairman of the Airpower Foundation, Sid Eppes announced the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, along with the other worthwhile military organizations that received grants, during his acknowledgment speech at the Skyball event:

“Thanks to American Airlines and all of their team members who donated their time and talent to supporting those who serve our country," said Sid Eppes, Chairman of the Airpower Foundation. "The funds raised through Sky Ball allow the Airpower Foundation to fund and make a major impact within the military community through great organizations like the Adaptive Training Foundation, USO, Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, Armed Services YMCA, Robert Irvine Foundation and many others. It also allows us to purchase mobility devices, fund scholarships, support Gold Star families and other life-changing programs.”

The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation team thanks Airpower Foundation for its commitment to our mission, along with all of its partners, including American Airlines.
